Classic preparation in a teapot (500 ml):

  • Amount of tea: 8 grams
  • Water temperature: 85 °C
  • First Infusion: Infuse for 90 seconds.
  • Second and subsequent infusions: Infuse for 120 seconds for the second infusion and 180 seconds for the third.

Preparation in gaiwan (100 ml):

  • Amount of tea: 4 grams
  • Water temperature: 80 °C
  • First infusion: Infuse for 30 seconds.
  • Additional infusions: Steep for 30 seconds each for the next two infusions, followed by 45 seconds and 90 seconds for the next.
