What and who is GourmetKava.cz?

We specialize in selling freshly roasted coffee and accessories for its preparation. We have been in business for 10 years and in that time we have grown from a small coffee e-store to one of the largest sellers of coffee and related accessories. We currently run our own shop in Prague, Vinohrady (where you will work), a depot in Karlín, e-shops in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. We are a shop where the coffee geek who likes fruitier coffee, but also his grandmother who would not tolerate acidity in coffee, will shop :]

What will be your job title?

• Basic job description will be helping customers to select merchandise and the actual selling/servicing at the checkout
• Preparing and dispensing orders that customers have ordered through the e-store with in-store pickup.
• Caring for the store and stocking the merchandise that is sold in the store. I.e. having everything in its place so that the rest of us in the company know our way around it. Having the price tags properly labeled, the merchandise lined up and clean.
• Receiving goods that arrive on the shop floor from the main warehouse, i.e. stacking them into the system and physically checking them.
• Testing goods from complaints, i.e. it is an advantage to be a bit of a technical type, however, it is not about repairs, but testing the problem as described by the customer, then passing this on to the colleague who will deal with the supplier.
• Servicing web chat, i.e. some minimal customer communication.
• We're also open to getting involved in other activities in the company if it's something you can do or are interested in, we're curious to see what you come up with We welcome help with things like creating product descriptions, small graphic edits, taking product photos, managing HR in terms of being a liaison between people. Interest in any kind of content creation welcome!

What do we expect from you?

• An interest in choice coffee, experience with various preparations of coffee and at least a basic knowledge of coffee products. Do you know what Aeropress is? Then we're looking for you!
• A pleasant demeanor and the ability to advise and recommend a customer, just like people.
• Ability to get involved in the running of the business, learn new things and help others with them.
• Good knowledge of Czech language, but also ability to communicate in English during sales, even foreigners come to us.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work are taken as the basis, as well as pro-customer attitude. At GourmetKava we are with our customers and among us for good.
• Reliability and a sense of order.
• High school education.

What do we offer in return

• Working on a permanent basis with a starting salary of 30,000 - 32,000 CZK gross for full-time employment, guarantee of a minimum of 35,000 CZK after 3 years.
