Although coffee beans reached Europe already in the 17th century and its popularity grew rapidly, today's popular espresso had to wait until the beginning of the 20th century for its birth. Strong black coffee prepared by the intense pressure of hot water on ground coffee beans espresso was first brewed by the Italian merchant Luigi Bezzera.
And in the beginning there was nothing but the dissatisfaction of a busy businessman who wanted to have his fresh coffee on the table quickly. The successor to Bezzera lever coffee machines can also be purchased from us. It is certainly worth noting that in the case of some models it is still a manual production.
The original presses were called "Fast Coffee Machine" and at the same time, unfortunately, they are not associated so much with the name of the original discoverer, but rather with the iconic personality of Desidero Pavoni, who bought the rights to produce the so-called "fast coffee" from Bezzera coffee machine" and had everything patented right away. We also offer modern Pavoni products and you can't go wrong buying them. They still stick to the original design from the 1950s and have become a real legend among coffee machines, not only within the Italian provenance, but worldwide.
